We attended a series of workshops from 9am-3pm and received a First Tech Challenge robot kit. Please see one of those who attended for more information.
Workshops:

- Intro. to PTC computer-aided design software similar to Autodesk Inventor, we can use Autodesk Inventor.
- Mechanical and Electrical Build – Robotics 101. In this we learn what parts came in our kit. Then we got to see and ask questions to the 'Say Watt' team and their robot from last year representing Edison, New Jersey. We saw what will the field mock-up for the competition will look like for more information check the Bowled Over! Game Manual on the same link.
- Safety, sportsmanship, how to design an engineering notebook, and had a brainstorming session.
