Congratulations to the SeaPerch Robotics Team who earned 3rd place out of 29 high schools for Robot Performance this past Saturday
3/24/2012 at Drexel University's olympic size pool. The competition
simulated a
submarine robot salvage operation and obstacle course. The team leaders
were sophomores Stephen Pettus, Mahmuda Liza, and freshman Kristoff
Robinson. Juniors Kasimir Braxton and Jaime Scott, senior Brandon
Brinson, and freshman Lauren Stuckman assisted.
A special thanks to
our engineering mentors from NAVSEA, Patrick Violante, Pinkesh Bharatia,
Sue Kralle and Scott Storms. We appreciate senior Eric Smalls, junior
Cevan Noell and freshman Greg Moton for cheering us on. Brandon Brinson
and Kasimir Braxton could not make the event but participated in
designing & building. Students are wearing the new Robotics Club
T-shirts. All SeaPerch photos here.
