7am: building opens and setup starts
8:30am: exhibitors complete setup
8:30am: attendees arrive
9am: workshops begin
11:30: lunch
12:30: workshops continue

FRC Demonstrations:
There will be a designated FRC demo area for FRC teams to demonstrate their robots. Please do not demo FRC robots at the booth.

Directions & Parking: The Singh Nanotechnology Center is located at 3205 Walnut St. in the University City section of Philadelphia. It is easily accessible via train from 34th St. Station, or by car from I-76. Unloading can be done on Walnut St. with easy access to the expo. We can provide one parking space per exhibitor, which is located on 34th St between Chestnut St and Market St. Please get a ticket from the garage, and we will give you a voucher to pay the parking fee. If you are bringing a trailer, please contact us by Wednesday, April 15th letting us know.

Waivers: All participants need to fill out a waiver form in order to attend the event. The form is attached to this email.

Food: All exhibitors will be given food.  This will occur at 11:30 AM.

Power: Extension cords will be provided but please bring power strips to provide power at your exhibition booths.

Speakers & Demos: There will be six keynote speaking sessions and multiple GRASP Lab demos running throughout the day. Exhibitors are free to sit in on these speakers and demos, as long as there is at least one person left at their booth and if the exhibitor coordinator, Evan Aretz, has been notified. Due to the high number of attendees at the expo, unfortunately we cannot allow exhibitors to attend workshops.

FTC Scrimmage: There will be a mock FTC scrimmage running throughout the day and run by 4 FTC teams.  Each team will be taking a group of students to teach them about their robot and the design process, and then teams of students will compete in a mini-competition.  We want to thank these teams so much for giving up their time to do this.  We also want to especially thank Tom Zawislak, for letting us borrow part of his competition field and for letting us borrow the field control systems.

FLL Scrimmage: FLL teams will be running a mock FLL scrimmage throughout the day. Each team will be taking a group of students to teach them about their robot and the design process they used.  We want to thank these teams so much for giving up their time to do this.

Sponsors: PRX would like to thank the following sponsors:

GRASP Lab, University of Pennsylvania - VIP Sponsor
Technically Philly - PRX Supporter

One other note: If any group wishes to do any setup Sunday evening, please contact us.  We will be setting the event up at Penn on Sunday and you are welcome to join us at that time.

The Philly Robotics Expo would be nothing without all of your involvement. We cannot thank you all enough for donating your time to this event. Your greatest reward will be the hundreds of smiling faces throughout the day on the 20th.

We would like to do one final confirmation, please reply and confirm whether you’ll be able to make it as an exhibitor to the expo.

Please feel free contact us with any questions or concerns.

See you at PRX!
