Hi to all of our Teams and Volunteers,
We are kicking off our Philadelphia League Competitions with Meets 1 and 2 this Wednesday and Thursday, December 10and 11th and cannot wait for the gathering of great teams from all over the city. This is 3rd year for the league and we are happy to be able to hold the competition at Temple University again this year.
This mail is to provide those teams that have registered for this week essential information regarding this event. Most all of the information you need to prepare is accessible on our website, www.FTCPenn.org. We strongly encourage all teams to utilize this site for all tournament information as we progress through the season.

TEAMS:
To properly prepare for this weekend’s tournament please go to our new site – TOURNAMENT AND MEET CHECKLIST for valuable information.
Some highlights from the checklist:
Teams MUST bring PRINTED copies of the following items to all Pennsylvania FTC Tournaments and Meets. Teams will provide these items at Team Registration / Check-in.
1. Team Roster (from TIMS)
2. Completed Consent and Release Form for each student or mentor who has not completed the consent forms electronically
3. Hardware Inspection Checklist with the Team column completed
4. Robot Bill of Materials
5. Software Inspection Checklists with the Team column completed.
Robot Inspection:
Inspections for teams commence as soon as teams arrive. Please be prompt and we encourage arrivals by 3:00PM if at all feasible
Consent and Release forms:
Please bring Consent and Release forms as required by FIRST for any official event. A blank copy is attached. If you have registered your team through TIMS than all that is necessary is to bring a print-out of the team roster from that site. They will be collected at Registration. Spectators DO NOT need provide Consent and Release.
Safety Glasses:
Please remember to bring SAFETY GLASSES. Safety Glasses will be required in the pits and on the competition field. No exceptions!
Power Strip:
An extension cord or one outlet will be provided at each of the pit tables. Please bring your own POWER STRIP for multiple plug-in, AC Power availability. None will be provided.
Food:
Pizza and drinks will be provided courtesy Pennsylvania FIRST Tech Challenge.
VOLUNTEERS:
General volunteers will receive cool T-Shirts for the tournament that you can keep.
Judges will receive Blue Polo shirts with the Pennsylvania FTC Logo. They are the same as last year's shirts so if you received a shirt as a volunteer last year please proudly wear it on Saturday. The shirts we have are the same style and colors as last year and this will help keep us within budget. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.
Volunteers will be provided pizza and refreshments at no cost to you to keep your energy!
