FTC Teams Compete in State Qualifier Meets

School wide announcement:
"Congratulations to Robotics 'First Tech Challenge' teams TechHeroes and GearGirls who were very competitive in two of five qualifying meets toward a state competition.  Results have not been released, but congratulate the rookie GearGirls team who won a few matches in each round so far.

GearGirls: Led by Venise Martinez, Mykyah Vessels, Keisha Smith and Angel Osario
TechHeroes: with new contributors Adama Doumbia, Rasheen Farlow and Shamir Monroe"

Results have not been released yet, but here is the link to team rankings:

We need all FTC team members who have contributed to continue their efforts. I am thrilled with all of the new energy on both teams!  See you again at Temple Univ. for the same schedule on Wed. January 14th and Thu. January 15th for Meets # 3 and #4 out of 5. A second permission slip will be given for the final Meet #5 since the location has not been determined.

The new leaders on the TechHeroes team need to accept ownership of the robot as Andrew and Josiah will be primarily working on FRC competition starting on Jan 3rd.  Andrew and Josiah will still be around to assist.
