After the new member competition this Thursday Dec. 18th, new members are invited to participate with SeaPerch or Science Olympiad teams.
SeaPerch: We will roll out the overview and rules this Tuesday for the competition in April at Drexel Univ.'s pool. See Adam Fofana, Musa Kamara and Venise Martinez who are leading the team this year. Also see: http://www.phillyseaperch.org/2015-competition-information.html
We will work on this with our Navy engineering mentors(NAVSEA).
Science Olympiad: We are participating in Bridge Building, Wright Stuff, and likely Write it Do It held on March 7 at the Univ. of the Sciences, near Univ. of Penn in West Philly. See George Baidoo, William Zhang, Ransford Djeabo, and Adam Fofana who attended the kickoff event this past Saturday. Thanks to Greg Jones from Temple Univ. NSBE who chaperoned. We will work on this contest with the Temple Univ. NSBE mentors.
